Africa – Betking strengthens IBIA’s betting integrity network in Africa

African focused gambling operator and digital entertainment company BetKing, part of the KingMakers Group, has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). The company was established in 2018 and offers online and retail betting, with licences in Kenya, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Ghana. BetKing will now feed into IBIA’s global betting integrity monitoring and alert platform and joins many of the leading regulated sports betting operators in the world, with the association’s members accounting for over $137bn (€115bn) in global betting turnover per annum and nearly 50% of all regulated commercial operator online betting activity.

L’International Betting Integrity Association est la principale voix mondiale en matière d’intégrité pour le secteur des paris sous licence. Il est géré par des opérateurs pour les opérateurs, protégeant ses membres de la corruption par une action collective. Sa plateforme de surveillance et d'alerte est un outil anti-corruption très efficace qui détecte et signale les activités suspectes sur les marchés de paris de ses membres. L'association entretient depuis longtemps des partenariats de partage d'informations avec les principaux régulateurs du sport et des jeux de hasard afin d'utiliser ses données et de poursuivre en justice la corruption. Il représente le secteur dans des forums de discussion politique de haut niveau tels que le CIO, l'ONU, le Conseil de l'Europe et la Commission européenne.
